J. P. Johnson & Associates is a sole-proprietorship owned by Josh Johnson.  Our office is comprised of attorney Josh Johnson and business manager Megan O’Leary, and our goal is to provide affordable, high-quality legal services.  We believe that small businesses power our economy, create jobs, and provide an extraordinary level of customer service and accountability because there are no barriers between the customer and the business owner.

The mission of J. P. Johnson & Associates is to provide affordable, honest legal representation with unparalleled customer service to clients in Minnesota.  We believe that everyone deserves excellent advocacy when navigating the legal system and that high quality representation should be available at reasonable rates.

Attorney
Joshua P. Johnson received his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, where he received honors for his participation in the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Josh is admitted to the Minnesota Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.  He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Ramsey County Bar Association.  

Josh provides free family law consultation to fathers through the Resource Center for Fathers and Families.  He was previously a member of the Volunteer Lawyers Network and Legal Access Point.

Administration & Paralegal
Megan O’Leary handles the marketing, accounting and paralegal work for J. P. Johnson & Associates.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she graduated summa cum laude.  Megan brings extensive marketing and communications experience, as well as business management acumen, to her work with J. P. Johnson & Associates.

Megan is committed to supporting self-sufficiency through community service, and has served as a volunteer for a variety of organizations.  For the past five years she has served on the board of directors of Hmong American Partnership
